Welcome to the Fulton Family YMCA

The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina (NWNC) is thrilled we have reopened the Fulton Family YMCA. The Fulton Y membership hours are 7:00am to 1:00pm and we will measure facility usage and membership numbers to determine if expanded hours are warranted. Since late 2020, the Fulton Family YMCA has played a vital role as a hub for essential youth development programs, including after-school initiatives, summer camps, youth sports, and housing the TYDE swim team. American Red Cross Honors Our Very Own Norman

Norman Rowdy, a fixture at the Fulton Family YMCA in northeast Winston-Salem for almost a quarter century, is one of this year's American Red Cross Salute to Heroes honorees. He is receiving this award in the citizen hero category for his lifetime of leadership, service, and humanitarianism.

Donna Rodgers new CEO

YMCA of Northwest North Carolina Names Donna Rodgers as President and CEO

The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina has announced that Donna Rodgers has been selected as the organization’s next President and CEO, becoming the first woman to serve as President and CEO in the association’s history. Rodgers, who has served as the YMCA’s Interim Chief Executive Officer since May 2026, has been a member of the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina leadership team for more than 22 years.

Reaching Our Potential Gives Students Free Y Membership and Access to Opportunities

WINSTON-SALEM — For the fifth-consecutive academic year, the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, in partnership with local school districts in Alexander, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Wilkes and Yadkin counties, is offering a teen membership referral initiative to give youth a positive space to thrive at no cost to the teenager or their family.

Golf To Give Back

The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina will host its 29th annual Golf To Give Back tournament Oct. 16 at Tanglewood Park Golf Club.As one of the primary fundraisers for the nonprofit organization, participation and support in the tournament will help continue to provide opportunities for children, families, and individuals to grow, learn, and thrive in the community.
