Capital Campaigns

The Robinhood Road Family YMCA Capital Campaign will fund a renovation and expansion that will add an airnasium, providing additional square footage that we need today to meet the increasing demand for services at our location.

A capital expansion is necessary to support the major renovations needed to create the YMCA REACH Center at Winston Lake to better support our community members in East Winston. Your generosity during this phase of our campaign to raise $1.5 Million will help totally transform this aging facility into a space that will house not only traditional YMCA health and wellness elements (pool, gym, fitness center) but also collaborative educational and vocational spaces, childcare for those utilizing services, and a medical clinic.

Now, more than ever, the Kernersville community needs the YMCA. To continue serving our youth, adults, and making a lasting impact on the health and wellness of our community, we are expanding the Kernersville Family YMCA campus with a new outdoor airnasium, restrooms, storage space and new t-ball fields. The Y is in the hearts and actions of every neighbor who believes in our vision of a better “us” and a stronger community for all.
