King, NC — The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina invites YMCA staff, volunteers, and community members to join in the 2025 Christian Leadership Conference (CLC) on Saturday, November 15, at YMCA Camp Hanes. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., and the conference runs from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Christian Leadership Conference is a meaningful day of spiritual growth, leadership development, and fellowship in a beautiful camp setting. Participants will explore how Christian principles can strengthen leadership in their daily lives, build connections with others, and engage in hands-on activities designed to inspire personal and professional growth.

Keynote Speaker: Miguel Viera
Miguel Viera serves as the Executive Director of Family Ministries of America (FMA) — an organization that exists to honor and glorify God by connecting children and adults into a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, providing them with the tools and instruction to encourage spiritual growth and equip them to evangelize others. FMA partners with churches to reach “pockets of lostness” and help make disciple-makers through gospel-centered interactions.

In addition to leading FMA, Miguel is an Evangelism Catalyst with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and a volunteer chaplain at the Stokes YMCA. He has authored three books, including his latest release, Mission Minded in the Workplace: Illuminating the Fruit of the Spirit — available at missionmindedworkplace.com.

A former college middle linebacker, Miguel’s perseverance, character, grit, and faith in Christ culminated in an exceptional collegiate career. His senior year honors include Academic All-American, Second Team Division I AA All-American, First Team All-Atlantic 10 Conference, tackle leader in the A-10 conference (1997–1998), URI MVP Recipient, and ranking as the 35th best middle linebacker in the country in the 1999 NFL Draft.

Miguel lives in King, NC with his wife, Tiffany, and their four children — Mason, Trevor, Marina, and Faith. The family attends Revo Church in Rural Hall, where Miguel and Tiffany teach and assist with Children’s Church.
