Providing for Future Generations: The Heritage Club Endowment Fund
In a world that we’ve seen change moment by moment, it is important to know there are people and places we can depend on, and a safe environment for children to learn and grow.
At the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, we realize that young people need a variety of positive experiences and qualities to grow up to be caring, competent, responsible members of the community. For more than 133 years, we have offered values-based programs and services to enable people to develop in spirit, mind and body.
Our core values – caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith – have given the YMCA a strong foundation to respond to the changing needs in our community.
These values are a part of everything we do. And we believe they are an integral part of every child’s upbringing. They are building blocks that guide children and youth into adulthood.
Through your membership in The Heritage Club Endowment Fund, you will ensure the future support of our children’s future.
Ways to Give:
Immediate gifts of cash, appreciated securities, and real or tangible property are welcome additions to The Heritage Club Endowment Fund.
A simple codicil to your will can provide an important future gift for the Y. Designations may be for a specified amount, a percentage of your estate, or for the residue of your estate.
The Y may be a revocable beneficiary of your qualified IRA, pension plan, bank account, or insurance policy.
Life Income Gifts
If you would like to support The Heritage Club but still need a source of income for you or your family, a life income gift may be an attractive solution.
Charitable Remainder Trust
Make a gift to the Y and receive a fixed income for your lifetime(s). The remaining balance passes to The Heritage Club.
Charitable Gift Annuity
Make a gift to The Heritage Club and receive either a fixed or variable income for your lifetime or for a term of years.
