Moving For Better Balance

Designed for older adults and those with chronic health conditions who might have impaired balance and limited mobility, this 12-week evidence-based, instructor-led group program is designed to improve strength, balance, flexibility and mobility through slow, therapeutic movements based on Tai Chi.

We are currently using a virtual format so those considered high-risk for falls could still receive the assessments and classes they need to live safer, healthier lives. This program is offered at no cost to the participants thanks to a grant from Winston-Salem State University.
