The Stokes Family YMCA provides a wide range of programs for the whole family including swim lessons, before and after school care, and youth sports. The Y includes a comprehensive Wellness Center with on-duty staff, group exercise programs (in-person and virtual), pickleball, and SilverSneakers® classes.

Through the guidance of our dedicated staff and volunteer coaches, athletes learn what true sportsmanship and teamwork look like—on and off the court or field. YMCA Named Recipient of Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award

Winston-Salem, NC (March 24, 2023) – The Stokes Family YMCA has been awarded the Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award for its YMCA Bright Beginnings program, which provides back-to-school materials for Stokes County students in need. The Stokes YMCA seeks to serve 100 students from all elementary schools in the county with its collaborative partner Stokes County Schools.
