This Y, which is for members 16 years and older, includes a comprehensive Wellness Center with on-duty staff, group exercise programs, walking track accessible by an elevator, small cardio room, cycle studio, a conference room and SilverSneakers® classes

YMCA of Northwest North Carolina Names Donna Rodgers as President and CEO

The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina has announced that Donna Rodgers has been selected as the organization’s next President and CEO, becoming the first woman to serve as President and CEO in the association’s history. Rodgers, who has served as the YMCA’s Interim Chief Executive Officer since May 2026, has been a member of the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina leadership team for more than 22 years.

Reaching Our Potential Gives Students Free Y Membership and Access to Opportunities

WINSTON-SALEM — For the fifth-consecutive academic year, the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, in partnership with local school districts in Alexander, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Wilkes and Yadkin counties, is offering a teen membership referral initiative to give youth a positive space to thrive at no cost to the teenager or their family.

Golf To Give Back

The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina will host its 29th annual Golf To Give Back tournament Oct. 16 at Tanglewood Park Golf Club.As one of the primary fundraisers for the nonprofit organization, participation and support in the tournament will help continue to provide opportunities for children, families, and individuals to grow, learn, and thrive in the community.
