Adventure Camp (Rising 8th-10th)
Ready to take your summer adventure beyond camp? Adventure Camp is designed for teens ages 13 to 15 who are ready to challenge themselves, explore the outdoors, and make unforgettable memories! Campers will travel with our Adventure Staff for a three-day, two-night excursion to West Virginia, where they'll experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on the Lower New River and choose between soaring through the treetops on a zipline canopy tour or exploring underground at Lost World Caverns. While in West Virginia, campers will tent camp at Adventures on the Gorge before returning to Camp Hanes for more nights under the stars on our on-site adventure platforms.
Whether they're navigating whitewater, exploring new terrain, or building friendships around camp, campers will grow in confidence, independence, and teamwork while discovering just how much they're capable of. No prior adventure experience is needed, just a willingness to try something new!
