Fall Risk Assessments
Could you be at risk for a fall? Find out how to reduce your risk with this free assessment. We are partnering with Winston-Salem State University to offer simple assessments that include 3-4 balance and coordination tests. You will receive a fall risk assessment score and tips on how to improve with some exercises. WSSU will take some anonymous data for research purposes and have participants take a small survey before the tests.

9th Annual Turkey Trot 5K
Run a 5K on Turkey Day! Join the fun, because the Turkey Trot is for everyone! Walkers, joggers, runners, strollers, beginners, and athletes are all encouraged to participate. Accept the challenge of bringing four pounds of food for our neighbors in need on race day and we’ll donate it to Samaritan’s Kitchen of Wilkes.

UFIT: Helping You Get The Results You Want
What is uFit?
uFit is a program that provides you with an easy-to-follow plan and cutting edge fitness tools. You will not be alone in this process. Our highly trained staff will help you set attainable goals and will provide the ongoing support necessary for your success.
In three short meetings, we can take you from an exercise skeptic to a confident individual who is excited about working out. In just a few sessions, you will gain the tools and resources that will help you succeed.
You will finally learn what really works in terms of exercise, weight loss, and having more energy – not to mention just becoming healthier. This program is valued at $150, but offered at no cost to all new members. You are encouraged to sign up within the first week of your membership.
