Mistletoe Training With Fleet Feet
Fleet Feet will help you get ready for race day, starting October 21. 40 days, $40. Training starts Saturday, October 21 at 8:00am. For more information, please click here.
Half marathon practices are Saturdays at Hanes Park. There are three 5K practice locations: Hanes Park, Jerry Long Family YMCA and Kernersville Family YMCA. When registering, participants should choose their planned practice location.

UFIT: Helping You Get The Results You Want
What is uFit?
uFit is a program that provides you with an easy-to-follow plan and cutting edge fitness tools. You will not be alone in this process. Our highly trained staff will help you set attainable goals and will provide the ongoing support necessary for your success.
In three short meetings, we can take you from an exercise skeptic to a confident individual who is excited about working out. In just a few sessions, you will gain the tools and resources that will help you succeed.
You will finally learn what really works in terms of exercise, weight loss, and having more energy – not to mention just becoming healthier. This program is valued at $150, but offered at no cost to all new members. You are encouraged to sign up within the first week of your membership.

(Low Impact cardio class mixed with muscular strength and balance moves)

(Tough cardio and strength class)

(This class will focus on muscular strength, balance, coordination, and range of movement. Light hand weights, small rubber balls, resistance bands, and chairs will be used)
Wednesdays and Fridays
Sizzlin’ Seniors class 11:00-11:45AM
(A higher intensity cardio class including dance moves, kickboxing, and walking)

Note: All Personal Trainers at the YMCA are employees of the YMCA. The YMCA does not allow non-employee Personal Trainers to provide services for our members.
Stroke Recovery Program
Founded in 1999 by a recovering stroke survivor; Millennium Team uses fitness training to help stroke survivors regain their strength, balance, and control. Millennium Team also works with those recovering from other physically disabling illnesses, such as: TBI, Multiple Sclerosis, and Muscular Atrophy.
Each client will work one-on-one with a Certified Personal Trainer. All progress is recorded and tracked. Each client’s program is re-evaluated as progress is achieved. Exercise programs are designed to address each client’s specific situation, and may include (but are not limited to): weight training, cardiovascular exercise, water exercise classes, stretching, balance, coordination, and range of motion exercises.
Training sessions are done at the Kernersville YMCA, allowing full access to all of the YMCAs fitness training resources.
$15 – $25 per 1 hour session
