Innovation Quarter Trailblazers
Explore downtown Winston with the Innovation Quarter YMCA Trailblazers. We are a running/walking group that will provide you with community, accountability, and encouragement to help you reach your fitness goals. This group is open to everyone – walkers to experienced runners and YMCA and potential YMCA members alike. Run with us each week and then celebrate after at Incendiary Brewing Company! Meet us Thursday, September 6 at 5:00pm on the Long Branch Trail at the back entrance of 525@Vine for our kickoff run!

Stress Reduction, Relaxation and Meditation
Jacob Felder demystifies meditation to make this valuable life skill available for everyone to enjoy. He uses a safe and simple scientific method that
explains how and why meditation works and how to make it work for you. The end result is stress-reduction, increased energy, and greater wellbeing. This class is designed for the curious beginner to the experienced meditator.

Fun to Fit Boot Camp
Exercise is important and making time for it is the responsible thing to do. That doesn’t mean that working out can’t be fun though! If your gym routine has grown stale, you won’t want to miss this Fun to Fit Boot Camp. Under the guidance of a certified trainer, you will find new ways to have fun while breaking a sweat. Friendly competitions, creative fitness games, and team exercises will all be used to help you build strength, improve conditioning, and maybe even meet a new friend! Program will run monthly and starts the first Monday of every month.

Community Yoga Class
We are excited to announce that we will be holding a FREE community yoga class at the Wake Forest Biotech Place Atrium on the 3rd Wednesday of each month beginning March 21. This class will be from 11:45am to 12:30pm and is free and open to the community! Spread the word!
Aikido on Tuesdays
Greensboro Kodokan Aikido provides Aikido instruction in our group exercise room every Tuesday night from 5:45pm-7:15pm. Join them for two free classes! Regular dues are $30/month. BODYPUMP™ 45 min: A weight class for absolutely everyone! This form of weight training will make you toned, lean and fit. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetitions, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout that burns lots of calories. It will also tone and shape your body without adding lots of bulky muscles. The rep effect- a scientifically proven Les Mills formula- is the secret to develop lean athletic muscle without the need for heavy weights. Sign ups begin the day before the scheduled class. CYCLE: This class is a great 45 minute cardiovascular workout. Pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills and exercises.
GENTLE YOGA: A gentle flow yoga class that begins with sequenced stretches to help open the legs, hips, shoulders and back. It ends with deeper stretching and the final resting pose of Savasana.
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training): A high energy class that will use various forms of strength and cardiovascular training to burn calories in a shorter amount of time as well as burning more calories post workout.
HIP HOP CYCLE: 45 minutes of cycle the Hip Hop way!
TOTAL BODY SCULPT: This circuit class will move through a variety of timed stations that focus on cardiovascular and strength training for a total body workout!
YOGA: Restore and revitalize with this all-levels lunch time yoga class! Connect with your breath, body, and mind to gain the extra energy needed for the busy afternoon ahead. Modifications are offered to yogis of all walks – experienced and new.

What is uFit?
uFit Express is a program that provides you with an easy-to-follow plan and cutting edge fitness tools. You will not be alone in this process. Our highly trained staff will help you set attainable goals and will provide the ongoing support necessary for your success.
In your uFit Express session you will meet with a trained wellness coach who will help you identify and develop strategies for reaching your goals, will explore ways to overcome any barriers, and will create a plan personalized just for you!
You will finally learn what really works in terms of exercise, weight loss, and having more energy – not to mention just becoming healthier. This program is offered at no cost to all new members. You are encouraged to sign up within the first week of your membership.
