How do I join Adventure Guides?

The best way to become a part of Adventure Guides is by starting your own tribe.  There are several ways to do this.  First, ask your child for a list of 15 of their friends that they would like to have in their tribe.  Then call each of their parents and ask them to be a member of your tribe.  This way, your child is already familiar with the other kids in the tribe.  Another way to start your own tribe is by asking your friends, neighbors, or members at your church.  This is especially good if you are new to the area as it allows you to meet other families with children the same age as yours.

A good, strong tribe should be at least 6-10 dads.  And remember…don’t be afraid to ask mom!  We all know they are the ones in charge!!

Once you have a group of dads together, call the Adventure Guides Program Office at (336) 721-2100 x2059 to set up a time for your tribe’s orientation.  Here Program Registration Forms (found under the forms tab above) can be turned in, manuals and yearly patches are received, and an overview and training of the program will be given.

Once all of these have been completed, you are officially part of the Adventure Guides Saura Nation!  Congratulations and How-How!
