Our Goal

Our goal is not only to raise awareness of this problem, but also to fund childhood obesity programs that we know work. The YMCA’s Healthy, Fit and Strong program (formerly P.A.C.E.S) helps families understand and make healthier lifestyle and eating choices. Healthy, Fit and Strong has reached over 3,000 kids in our community so far. Included in this program is nutritional education for parents of obese children. The YMCA also provides an after-school physical activity curriculum and fitness classes for the entire family.

All of the net funds raised by the Mistletoe Run will go toward fighting childhood obesity. We need your support, now more than ever.
