Keeping track of key health indicators can improve your overall well-being. Sign up for a free Cardiovascular Screening with Novant Health. Screenings include: Blood Pressure, BMI, Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Blood Glucose, Hemoglobin A1C and more. Your results are completely confidential. Mark your calendar and stop by the check-in desk to register for more information.

Bandit’s Challenge Triathlon

Since it’s inception back in 2000, the Bandits Challenge Triathlon has become a legend.

It’s often the answer to the question “What’s the hardest international distance triathlon you’ve ever done?”

This event is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.

This event is a 150 yd pool swim, local 9.2 mile road ride that travels through both in-town and rural roads coming close to Lake Norman State Park, followed by a two mile out-and-back trail run on the property of Barium Springs Family YMCA.

Both the ride and run will be a mixture of sun and shaded areas with some scenic views. There is a moderate elevation change on the bike ride and an uphill finish on the trail run. This race is intended to be a perfect distance for a wide variety of triathletes from the new participant to the seasoned veteran. Attention has been paid to course layout and location to accommodate a variety of skill levels keeping safety in mind.

Indivduals: Register between now and June 30 for only $45. From July 1-July 22, it’ll be $50 and packet pick up and race day it’ll be $55.
Relay: Register between now and June 30 for only $60. From July 1-July 22, it’ll be $70 and packet pick up and race day it’ll be $80.

Youth Triathlon

Join us for our 8th Annual Little Bandits Youth Triathlon!

Triathlon aren’t just for grownups! Swim, bike and run in this youth triathlon for children under age 15. Get active and join in the fun!
