Classes are 30 minutes.
Youth lessons (ages 6-15 years)
This class consists of four levels, which focus on stroke development, water safety, personal growth, and fun. A trained swim instructor works with children at their own pace using the YMCA core values, building self-esteem as well as self confidence through swimming. Youth swim levels are Polliwog, Guppy, Minnow, Fish and Flying Fish. Classes are 45 minutes.
Adult lesson (ages 13-up)
This class is for any adult from beginner through advanced. A trained swim instructor works with you moving at your own pace, learning basic stroke development, and water safety. Classes are 45 minutes.

Swim Testing Levels
Green level swimmers must complete a deep end swim test consisting of swimming 15 feet without flotation, treading water for 30 seconds, and swimming back from where they started completely unassisted and to the satisfaction of the Lifeguard administering the test. Green level swimmers will be allowed access to the entire pool area. Green level swimmers who are under middle school age (K-5th grade) must have a parent on the pool deck at ALL times.
Yellow level swimmers must complete a shallow water swim test consisting of swimming the length of the shallow end unassisted without touching the bottom or grabbing onto the wall or lane line. Parent/guardian 18 years of age or older must stay on the pool deck at all times while yellow swimmer is in the pool.
