Wilkes Family YMCA
The Wilkes Family YMCA is active in the local community and offers a wide range of programs for the whole family including swim lessons, after-school care, and youth sports. The Y includes a comprehensive Wellness Center with on-duty staff, group exercise programs, and SilverSneakers® classes. Dedicated to social responsibility with efforts such as LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and will begin Diabetes Prevention programming in 2013.

Rivers Edge CrossFit
CrossFit is now at the Y! CrossFit is a challenging, yet rewarding, training program structured around the ten components of fitness: strength, stamina, endurance, accuracy, power, agility, balance, speed, coordination, and flexibility.
All WODs (Workout of the Day) can be modified and are appropriate for all fitness levels. Classes are available for members and potential members age 16 and older.

King of the Hill 5K & 10K
And new this year: Healthy Kids Fun Run Obstacle Course! The YMCA will provide a safe, quality event for athletes of pint size proportion. Ages for the Healthy Kids Fun Run are 3 years old through 5th grade. Participants will be divided into age-appropriate categories.
The YMCA will provide a safe, quality event to accommodate the serious competitor as well as athletes of all levels. Proceeds will benefit LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA program. Click here to read more about LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA.

5K Run/Walk: $25 through September 11, $30 on race day

Shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 participants who register by August 28. Online registration ends Thursday, September 10 at 6:00pm
Healthy Kids Fun Run: $5 per participant. The first 75 kids who register will receive a free Y drawstring bag!

Awards Ceremony immediately following completion of 10K.
Race Packets are available for early pick-up the day before (Friday, September 11) from 2-6pm at the Stokes Family YMCA. Childcare available 7:15-11:00am the day of the race.

Find out how strong you really are! Boot Camps are a great small group training session that utilizes all aspects of movement. Agility, cardio, strength, cross training, and more! Out of the box type workouts are programmed to help you reach your maximum fitness level and boost your goals!

All Boot Camps run the 1st of the month through the last day of the month. Fee is to attend on of the Boot Camp times listed. Fees must be paid before you attend the 1st session. Each Boot Camp is between 5-10 participants.

6th Annual Turkey Trot 5K
Start a new healthy holiday tradition with your family this year and feed the hungry this holiday season! We challenge you to bring four pounds of food for our neighbors in need on race day and we’ll donate it to Hope Ministries Food Pantry.
