Wilkes Family YMCA

The Wilkes Family YMCA is active in the local community and offers a wide range of programs for the whole family including swim lessons, after-school care, and youth sports. The Y includes a comprehensive Wellness Center with on-duty staff, group exercise programs, and SilverSneakers® classes. Dedicated to social responsibility with efforts such as LIVESTRONG at the YMCA  and will begin Diabetes Prevention programming in 2013.

Explore Our New Expansion

We have some exciting changes coming to our Y!

Over the next few weeks we will finalize our Wellness Center expansion, including a new functional training studio. The Training Center will include Rogue CrossFit Equipment, TRX stations, Boot Camps, and Personal Training Space. Our Training Center will open July 1 and will become a CrossFit affiliate in August.

We will waive the joining fee June 1-14 as part of our expansion. Tell your friends!

At the Y, we focus on programs that allow children to explore and get involved in activities that help them grow both mentally and physically.

Bandit’s Challenge Triathlon

Since it’s inception back in 2000, the Bandits Challenge Triathlon has become a legend.

It’s often the answer to the question “What’s the hardest international distance triathlon you’ve ever done?”

This event is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.

Find out how strong you really are! Boot Camps are a great small group training session that utilizes all aspects of movement. Agility, cardio, strength, cross training, and more! Out of the box type workouts are programmed to help you reach your maximum fitness level and boost your goals!

Youth Triathlon

Join us for our 8th Annual Little Bandits Youth Triathlon!

Triathlon aren’t just for grownups! Swim, bike and run in this youth triathlon for children under age 15. Get active and join in the fun!
