This full-service facility has a wide range of offerings including a swimming pool, wellness center, youth sports programs, summer camps and afterschool care, and much more.

Just Dance

The Statesville Family YMCA will be launching a dance program this fall. Students will have the opportunity to learn and experience dance skills and terminology as they progress through a 12 week program, ending with a mini presentation of their work at the end of the course. Classes are designed to develop creativity with expressive response to music and the development of strength, poise, and group interaction skills.




Program Fees

Registration: $20 per student

Y Members: $35 per month or $140 for the 12 week program

Potential Members: $45 per month or $180 for the 12 week program

YMCA After School Care Kids: $15 per month or $60 for the 12 week program

Additional classes: $10 per month

Stomp the Grapes 5K

We are teaming up with Daveste’ Vineyards to bring you the Stomp the Grapes 5K and Stay All Day!

5K and 1 mile fun run

October 24

Race Start 10:00am

Enjoy live music, food, wine tasting, cheese tasting, and chocolate tasting after the run! This is not a timed event. Strollers and pets not allowed. This is a rain or shine event.

Sweat Wet

We’ve added 2 more classes!

Looking for a great workout that is also low impact? Sweat Wet is our evening water fitness program for shallow and deep water exercise. You do not need to know how to swim to participate. And you won’t have to get your hair wet! Participants should feel comfortable in the water and be ready to work in all water depths.

King of the Hill 5K & 10K

The Stokes Family YMCA invites you to the 16th Annual King of the Hill 5K Run/Walk and new 10K on September 12, 2015.

And new this year: Healthy Kids Fun Run Obstacle Course! The YMCA will provide a safe, quality event for athletes of pint size proportion. Ages for the Healthy Kids Fun Run are 3 years old through 5th grade. Participants will be divided into age-appropriate categories.

The YMCA will provide a safe, quality event to accommodate the serious competitor as well as athletes of all levels. Proceeds will benefit LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA program. Click here to read more about LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA.

Race Packets are available for early pick-up the day before (Friday, September 11) from 2-6pm at the Stokes Family YMCA. Childcare available 7:15-11:00am the day of the race.

Youth Soccer

Youth sports at the Y are about more than whether you win or lose. Kids learn how to be a part of a team, make new friends, and build confidence on the field. Whether you’re just starting out learning the basics or are ready to take your sports skills to the next level, there is something for you at the Y. Soccer will focus on core skills of dribbling, shooting, and more, as well as friendly competition.

Facility Rental Information

Whether you make a splash in the pool or bounce your heart out on our inflatables, we’re here to make sure your guests have a great time and parents can enjoy the fun too!
At the Y, our caring, expert staff will create an experience you will remember for weeks and years to come.


  • $50 refundable deposit required at time of booking. Deposit will be refunded after party inspection.
  • All fees include lifeguards and staffing.
  • Refreshments may be brought into the pool viewing/youth center room, but area must be cleaned and set up as it was prior to the party. Trash cans, trash bags, brooms, mops, etc. will be supplied.
  • Full payment must be made within two weeks of the contract agreement to reserve the date requested. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the date and deposit.
  • Cleanup time is included in the scheduled time.

On Out of School Days (OSD), we offer all-day child care, from 7:00am to 6:00pm. (Consult the Parent Handbook for holidays during which we do not provide care.)
