The Statesville Family YMCA serves the entire family through youth development programs, as well as healthy living and social responsibility initiatives. This full-service facility has a wide range of offerings including a swimming pool, wellness center, youth sports programs, summer camps and afterschool care, and much more.

Leprechaun Leap 5K & 10K Run/Walk
Leprechaun Leap for Gold is a dual-start 5k & 10k road race event in beautiful downtown Statesville. Both distances run together until about the 2.8 mile spot when the 10K runners split off to complete their distance and the 5k runners head for their finish. Award ceremony will be held once the entire event is completed. Awards given in age catagories from 9 & under through 75 and over. Overall awards for youth under age 15, overall M & F, top M & F sub-masters (over 40), and top M & F masters (50+).
Both the 5k & 10k start and finish in front of the YMCA on Wesley Drive. Event starts at 9am. Same day registration is available from 7am until 8:30am for a fee of $30. Event shirts are guaranteed to those who register by Monday, March 5th.

New Privileges for Teen and Pre-teen Members
A lot of growing up happens in your teen, tween and in-between years. The Y is a place where Middle and High School members should know that they always fit in. We’ve developed new Middle School and Wellness Orientations to ensure these members are prepared for increased access to our facilities in a safe, fun and successful environment.
