Group Fitness Class DescriptionsABS – A 15 minute class focused on the abdominal region. All levels encouraged. Boot Camp – A high intensity interval class that uses drills to focus on cardio, endurance and strength training. Most suitable for intermediate to advanced fitness levels. Beginner Burnout — Just starting to work out? This is still a full body workout but taken at a more gentle pace. Bender Ball Abs — Using the Bender Ball we will do a complete 15 minute core workout. Burnout – A 30 minute class of intense cardio and muscular endurance designed to create additional calorie burn even after you have finished the class. Suitable for any fitness level. Cross Training – The program’s weight lifting component includes complex, compound movements with heavy loads. Cross Train also uses, pull up bars, arm hangs and man calisthenics exercises. Cross Train may call on athletes to run, row, climb ropes, jump up on boxes, flip objects, and carry odd objects. Moderate Fitness levels. Cardio Kick – A moderate to high impact cardio conditioning class based on martial arts and boxing techniques. For all levels. Circuit Training- Each exercise is done for one minute. Then we rotate to the next activity. This is a full body workout, including cardio intervals. Cycle Lite- Cycle Lite is for all levels that are looking for a low-impact Ride or for those who have never tried Cycle before. F.B.I (Full Body Intensity) – This Advanced class is a combination of Triple Threat and Cross Train, for all of you advanced exercisers looking for more of a challenge this class is for you. Free Style – Instructor’s choice on the class style. Gliding with Lynn – 45 minute class using Gliders (flat disks) to enhance the workout experience – a mixture of strength and cardio training Gospel Cycle – Start your day to a ride to Gospel Music. Hip Hop – A hip hop style movement class that is designed to make you sweat in style. All levels. Masala Bhangra – An Indian based dance, this high energy fitness program is for all fitness levels. Praise Hooping- Praise hooping is a low-impact; total body workout that focuses on strengthening core muscles, toning arms and legs and providing a cardio work-out that can burn 300-500 calories in a 45 minute session. Participants use large hoops that weigh about 2 lbs to burn calories, get you fit, and provide lots of fun. These are drop-in classes. You don’t have to sign up, just show up. Rock the Bells- Rock the Bells the total body workout to sculpt your body. You also get a great cardio workout with rockin music. Step- An aerobic workout class using a step bench. Can be modified for most fitness levels. Sculpt- A muscular conditioning class that uses weights, tubing, medicine balls and manual resistance. All levels. Speedminton- Remember playing badminton and what fun it was? This is a lot like that only faster. We will be playing in the basketball gym. No net needed! Equipment will be provided. Step/Core- This is a class that involves steps, balls and sculpting exercise. Silver Sneakers – Designed for the active older adult to increase muscular range of motion and cardiovascular endurance. Triple Threat – Kick butt 30 minute Cardio workout utilizing Steps, Stairs and Sprints! We incorporate sprints to burn fat, stairs to build muscle and steps to increase the heart rate to increase the cardio vascular system! The class is split into two 15 minute bursts of cardio blasting exercises, coupled with muscle building structured combinations. Come and try it! You might like it! Yoga Stretch – A chair yoga program designed for active older adults to increase flexibility and balance. Yoga – A non-impact total body class focused on flexibility, strength, coordination and balance. Can be modified for all levels. Yoga Fit/Yoga Plus – A yoga class with endurance and strength in mind. For moderate fitness levels. Can be modified. Gently Yoga – A basic yoga for all fitness levels. Zumba – A cardiovascular class, designed to get you moving to a latin beat. The “Feel Good Class.” All levels. Zumbatomic – A TOTAL Blast, this crazy-cool-dance fitness workout for Kids ages 4-12 years set to Salsa, Hip Hop, Reggatone and more. |
Water Fitness Class DescriptionsShallow Water Classes J.O.Y. - Lots of fun and exercises that can be done at your level of fitness. This shallow water workout will provide fullbody muscle strength training, balance, coordination and cardiovascular exercise that will keep you loose and limber the rest of the day. Shallow Water - A great combination of arms, legs and core strength training, stretching and toning. Don’t forget to add in the cardio work and you are set for a good workout that should wear you out! If you are looking for a little more out of your workout, this will be a good class for you. 20/20/20 - A water fitness class that will keep you moving from shallow, to deep, to shallow water. 20 minutes shallow cardio, 20 minutes deep water jogging, and then back to shallow water for 20 minutes upper body work! Guaranteed to keep the blood pumping! Cardio Blast - This workout is a great way to gain muscle strength, burn calories and increase your cardiovascular fitness. It is ideal for those wanting a vigorous high intensity workout. Recovery I - A low intensity shallow water workout using gentle stretches and moderate movements. This class will allow each participant to strengthen muscles, increase endurance and improve balance and joint flexibility. Beginners will start in Recovery I and work towards graduating to Recovery II. Recovery II - Graduates from Recovery I will continue to strengthen muscles and work more on endurance with 15min. longer on class time. Deep Water Classes Deep Combo - A fun, deep-water class that will get your heart pumping and your muscles strengthened. The class takes place in deep water and uses flotation belts, barbells and noodles to enhance your workout. We begin with a short warm up, then transition into a cardiovascular workout. This is followed by strength and flexibility for you core muscles, arms, legs shoulders and back. We finish up with a stretching warm down. Deep Water Interval - Ready for a challenging work-out? This deep water class is designed to burn calories and improves your cardiovascular endurance. After warming up, you will be led in fun (big muscles) aerobic exercise for 3 or more minutes, interspersed with toning and strength work for isolated muscle groups using barbells or noodles. The overall effect is an adjustable high intensity workout certain to give you great results!!
