Class Descriptions
AOA (active Older Adults) Aerobics – Light aerobics mixed with strength training and stretching. This class is geared towards active older adults of any fitness level.
AOA (Active Older Adults) Cardio-Stretch – Light cardiovascular workout and stretching. This class is geared towards active older adults of any fitness level.
Silver Sneakers 1 MSROM (Muscular Strength Range of Motion) – A class specifically designed for older adults. This class starts with a warm-up and then moves to exercises to improve range of motion and muscular strength. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Silver Sneakers 1 MSROM / Yoga Stretch – MSROM class mixed with Silver Sneakers Yoga.
Silver Sneakers Cardio Circuit – Cardiovascular circuit training for Sliver Sneakers participants or active older adults.
Awesome Abs – Class offers 15minutes of compact exercises to strengthen your core muscles.
Cross Training (November 1st – December 6th ) – Interval training class that helps to strengthen and tone major muscle while exercising the heart and lungs. This class is a great workout and works towards weight management throughout the holidays!
Cardio Strength – Get the benefits of a cardiovascular workout while using various pieces of equipment for strength training and toning the body.
Early Bird Cycle & Cycle – Get your heart and lungs pumping with cycle. These classes are designed for anyone who likes to cycle! Instructors will lead classes through different stages of a ride which will include training for both speed and endurance.
Cycle and Sculpt – This interval class is 4 minutes of cycle and 4 minutes of upper body sculpting, with cool down and stretch at the end!
Total Body Strengthening – Class focuses on toning the entire body incorporating both small and large muscle groups. Exercises are performed using ones’ own body weight, resistance bands, weights and balls.
Yoga – A detailed style of yoga that challenges participants to perform postures with great precision. Classes are structured for any level of ability.
Zumba – A fusion of Latin and Hip Hop dance styles. The routines feature aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
