The summer months are just around the corner. Summer is meant to be filled with learning enrichment, new experiences, and making new friendships and memories that can last a lifetime. At the Y, we focus on programs that allow children to explore and get involved in activities that help them grow both mentally and physically.

Fit in five boot camp
Make your best self happen!
Feeling confident and strong can make a huge difference in how you feel in many areas of your life. This 5-week boot camp for all fitness levels will help you tone up and feel and look your best. Join this fun, welcoming environment that will help you get in shape and even meet new friends in the process! Boot Camp will include TRX, resistance exercises, and body weights.

Hit a home run in this league-style program! All skills levels are welcome. Improve skills will team-building drills and fast-paced games. Make new friends and work on individual abilities like catching, hitting and pitching under the guidance of qualified and energetic coaches.

Healthy Kids Day
Join us for our annual Healthy Kids Day celebration. With summer just around the corner, Healthy Kids Day is a great time for families to begin thinking early about what their kids need to stay physically and intellectually active this summer. You can find great information about ways to help kids and families find ways to stay healthy all year long.
Saturday, April 26
Statesville Family YMCA
We’ll have face painting, crafts, clowns, balloon animals, a Kids Zumba Class, Bounce House/Slide, healthy Snacks and drinks, the Statesville Fire Dept will open up their truck with demos, the Statesville Police Department will be present to talk about safety, the Chick-Fil-a Cow will be here from 10-11am passing out coupons, and the Arby’s Oven Mitten, Wendy’s and Sweet Frog mascots will be passing out coupons as well.
