Volleyball Community Comes Together for a Great Cause

Sunshine…the smell of cut grass…the wind in your face – if you’re a volleyball player, by April you are itching for the opportunity to be out of the gym and onto the grass or sand courts.  That is why so many players look forward to the Jerry Long Family YMCA’s annual Bash Before the Clash volleyball tournament, marking the transition from the indoor to the outdoor volleyball season.

“Open” or “AA” Division — Elite Tournament Veteran. Consistently demonstrates excellent over-all skill and able to consistently execute advanced volleyball strategy.
“A” Advanced Division – Very Experienced. Consistently demonstrates great basic skills and ball placement/control.
“BB” Intermediate Division — Knows the outdoor game, intermittently demonstrates growth or strength in one or more basic skills.
“B” Division – Fairly new to the game or only intermittently demonstrates fair-good skill level.
