Practice two nights per week at the Jerry Long Family YMCA. Our coaches will work with players to improve conditioning, footwork (dribbling, passing, shooting, cuts) and field sense. This program is designed to also allow players to participate one night a week in our recreational soccer program (for a total of three practice nights per week). You must be registered in our recreational soccer program in order to participate in Soccer Academy.

Go “All Out” in this awesome new program at the Jerry Long Family YMCA!
All Out Soccer is a Saturday-only program with no practices or coaches. Players will be placed on teams with five or six players.
Learn communication and teamwork in a positive environment where every member of the team is important. Participants will learn responsibility and dedication while improving their soccer skills. Each athlete will receive a jersey and socks. Players must bring shin guards and water to each practice and game. This is a schedule-friendly league with just one practice during the week and games on Saturdays. Practice nights/times are determined by our volunteer coaches.
Soccer is one of the biggest and most widely played sports in the country, so don’t be left out! YMCA youth sports are designed to develop better athletes and better people by incorporating character development and positive attitudes. The focus is on skills, fun, and friendship.

Our outdoor soccer league is designed for your child to learn the fundamentals of soccer. Coached by dedicated volunteers.
